Au Revoir is here!

Today, the game Au Revoir had its premiere, which I had the pleasure of receiving and reviewing! :) It's a game developed by the indie studio Invisible Studio

Plot

The game’s description goes as follows: In 2071, technology has enabled the creation of synthetic brains capable of storing human minds. As a detective in a world full of neon lights and cyberpunk streets, you become entangled in a mystery that goes beyond all boundaries. Your goal is to recover the minds stored in these synthetic bodies, uncovering dark secrets that could revolutionize humanity. In a retro-futuristic world inspired by the '90s, you dive into a dark, neon-noir atmosphere, exploring virtual cities filled with cybernetic traps and dangers. Every corner of the city holds clues that lead you deeper into the conspiracy, where nothing is as it seems, and allies may turn out to be enemies. Time is working against you, and the truth behind this cybernetic revolution could shake the world to its core.

This game offers an incredible world-building experience with distinct cyberpunk elements. The music is atmospheric, really drawing you in, and the background environments are vibrant and full of life. I found the graphics and locations to be colorful and engaging, and the interface is top-notch. Moving around the game world and navigating the menu feels interesting and fresh, and the introduction really sets a great tone.

One downside is that, for a point-and-click style game, I wish there were more interactions with the surroundings. Many games share this issue, but here it’s particularly noticeable because the locations are so detailed: there are characters standing around, posters, buildings, products—yet you can't interact with them or learn more about this fascinating world. That’s my only real criticism.

As for the story and the main task, they're intriguing, and the characters are well-developed. I really appreciate the design of the locations again, and the lighting in the game is impressive. I’ve taken plenty of screenshots because everything looks so atmospheric! :)

I highly recommend this game—I had a great time! This game offers 2-3 hours of great fun. I can’t wait to see more from this developer in the future. Fingers crossed for what's to come!
